Visiting the office.

Please wear a mask when visiting the office and use the hand sanitiser station which is located just outside the office door. If you are uneasy about coming into the building due to social distancing then our instructors are more than welcome to discuss courses on the decking area outside (weather dependant of course!)

Shorebased courses

All our shorebased courses are running however due to social distancing we are running at reduced ratios which is a maximum of 6:1 (except Sea Survival which is higher). Every student will be issued with their own gear for the duration of the course. Please do not share equipment.

Face coverings are compulsory in communal areas of our buildings but not compulsory once in the classroom, however you are welcome to use them if you so wish. There are new hand sanitiser on arrival, in each of the communal areas and also in the large classroom.

Please arrive to your course wearing a mask.

Additional measures are in place for courses such as Diesel Engine, Sea Survival and First Aid.

Motorboat courses.

Under current guidance, we can form a bubble for any part of the course that we can conduct from the flybridge on Millbrook however facemasks are still very strongly recommended along with regular hand sanitising. The field of play bubble doesn’t apply to being inside or if any student is from a restricted area.

All our courses will return to Rhu Marina every night and will be non-residential. Please contact the office for any questions on the accommodation.

You will be issued with a lifejacket and wet weather gear (if required) for the duration of the course. Please make sure you dont another item of gear.

Your instructor will brief you on the first morning all on all protocols the school has put in place to keep you as safe as possible during your course.
