Timing

  • Monday to Thursday 09:15 - 17:00

  • Friday 09:15 - 16:00

Location

Certificates

  • You will be issued both MCA Small Ships Nav & Radar Certificates on successful completion of the course and assessment

Assessment

  • There are 2 short written papers, which are completed on the last afternoon of the course. The course is predominantly practical-based with various scenarios.

What to Bring

  • Identification, such as a driving licence, passport or Discharge book.

Equipment

  • We provide all equipment for use throughout the course.

Accommodation

  • Accommodation is not provided, but there are several hotels and B&Bs in the near vicinity. The closest hotel is The Ardencaple, which can be booked directly or through Booking.com

Food -

  • Tea, coffee and snacks are included, but meals are not. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch, or there is a shop nearby with takeaway rolls etc. Cafe Rhu in the Marina is open Wednesday - Sunday.
