We have10 different instructor training courses on offer

For over 10 years now we have been training people to fulfil their ambition to become an RYA Instructor. We are really proud of the start that we can give instructors as they begin a hugely satisfying career.

We run the specialist instructor courses on behalf of the RYA, from our centre in Rhu Marina using our modern classroom facilities.

Powerboat Instructor training courses and the IMO 6.09 Training the Trainer course (required for teaching MCA and STCW courses) can be booked on this website.

All other instructor courses should be booked on the RYA Instructors portal.

RYA Powerboat Instructor Skills Assessment

half day/one day course £100

This is a mandatory requirement ahead of the Powerboat Instructors course to test boat handling skills and theory/background knowledge.

RYA Powerboat Instructor

3 day course £440

A training course to equip with the skills and knowledge to teach the RYA Powerboat Scheme at RYA centres in the UK and overseas.
