SHOREBASED COURSE JOINING INSTRUCTIONS

RYA Day Skipper

Timing - 09:15-17:00

Location - You should make your own way to our location. Directions are here: You & Sea, Rhu Marina, G84 8LH 

Certificates - You will be issued the RYA Day Skipper Shorebased Certificate on successful completion of the course.

Assessment - There are two specific assessments which need to be completed, a chartwork one and also a general assessment. There is also ongoing assessment throughout the course

Equipment - You will be given the RYA Day Skipper course pack on your arrival, as well as a notepad and pen.

Accommodation - Accommodation is not provided, but there are several hotels and B&Bs in the near vicinity

Food - Tea, coffee and snacks are included, but meals are not. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch, or there is a shop nearby with takeaway rolls etc. Cafe Rhu in the Marina is open Wednesday - Sunday.
