Joining Instructions - RYA Day Skipper

Timing

  • 5 Days: 9am to 5:30pm

Location

  • You should make your own way to our location, You & Sea, Rhu Marina, G84 8LH. Directions are here.

Certificates

  • You will be issued the RYA Day Skipper Shorebased Certificate on successful completion of the course.

Assessment

  • There are two specific assessments which need to be completed, a chartwork one and also a general assessment. There is also ongoing assessment throughout the course

Equipment

  • You will be given the RYA Day Skipper course pack on your arrival, as well as a notepad and pen.

Accommodation

  • Accommodation is not provided, but there are several hotels and B&Bs in the near vicinity

Food

  • Tea, coffee and snacks are included, but meals are not. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch, or there is a shop nearby with takeaway rolls etc. Cafe Rhu in the Marina is open Wednesday - Sunday.
