Joining Instructions - RYA Powerboat 2

Timing

  • 2 days

  • 09:15-17:00

Location

Equipment

  • You will be given the RYA Powerboat 2 theory book on your arrival.

Clothing

  • Life jackets and wet weather gear are available for use during the course but please make sure you bring the correct clothing for the expected weather.

  • A warm jumper, gloves and a hat are always advisable. A pair of wellies or waterproof shoes/boots are also highly recommended. 

Certificates

  • You will be awarded the RYA Powerboat Level 2 qualification on successful completion of the course. Please bring a passport photo with you

Accommodation

  • The course is non-residential, but there are several hotels and B&Bs in the near vicinity

Food

  • Tea, coffee and snacks are included, but meals are not. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch, or there is a shop nearby with takeaway rolls etc. Cafe Rhu in the Marina is open Wednesday - Sunday.
